8th Annual Sickle Cell Disease Educational Seminar 2016 Highlights

Cayenne Wellness Center’s annual educational seminar at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. The seminar is intended to inform California physicians, nurses, patients and community members on current trends in sickle cell disease pain management. This year’s program features NIHs pain management protocol and the Joint Commission of Hospitals discussion for patients to advocate for best care practices. The highlight is a discussion on clinical trials (why participate and what trials are available).
